Is it Safe to Take Antidepressants While Pregnant?

Depends on the specific medication that the patient is taking, but there are very psychotropic medications that cannot be given during pregnancy.

So, if a woman is taking medication and they think they might be pregnant, or they are pregnant, they need to sit down with their provider to determine the best course of action, because any medication taking during pregnancy has risks and benefits.
