Watch this video introduction to learn more about Dr. Nasr

For some people, teaching is a calling. For others, it might be writing, painting, cooking – anything really! For our newest Alegent Health Clinic family physician, however, the calling was always medicine.

From a young age, Reema Nasr, M.D., says she enjoyed taking care of the people around her – whether it was bandaging her dolls’ “injuries” or supporting a family member with a child in the NICU. So it only made sense that she enter the world of healthcare – first receiving her medical degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, followed by a residency in family medicine with Creighton University School of Medicine.

Dr. Nasr is now a board-certified family physician who started seeing patients with Alegent Health Clinic at 132nd & Arbor Street on Wednesday, February 1 (if she looks familiar, it may be because she previously practiced just up the road at Creighton Family Healthcare on 132nd and Maple).

Beyond primary care, Dr. Nasr has a special interest in women’s health and in the prevention and early diagnosis of metabolic syndrome. She’s also a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and sits on the Goodrich Scholarship Advisory Committee.

When she’s not caring for patients, Dr. Nasr enjoys cooking ethnic foods, gardening and spending time with her three beautiful children.

I would like to know where you are located now. Since you are no longer at Eagle Run.

Hi Marlena – Dr. Nasr now practices at Alegent Health Clinic on 132nd and Arbor. The clinic is actually in the same building as Prairie Life, just to the north of 132nd and Center. Click here for a map.
