The two Alegent Health Clinic physicians I’m going to introduce you to this week may be new faces to the Clinic family, but they’re no strangers to one another. Michael Grace, M.D., and So Yun Park Grace, M.D., are a husband-wife duo who moved their family practices from Oregon to Omaha late last year.
Shall we get to know them?

Michael Grace, M.D., is a board-certified family physician with Alegent Health Clinic in Florence. He received his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine and completed a residency at the University of Washington. He most recently practiced with Kaiser Permanente in Portland, Oregon before joining the Clinic last November.
Dr. Grace’s return to Omaha has been a special homecoming. Not only was he born at Bergan Mercy Medical Center, but his mother grew up just blocks away from his clinic in Florence.
Dr. Grace has also spent time in Ecuador with Interhealth South America working to improve the health of indigenous and underserved populations.

So Yun Park Grace, M.D., is also a board-certified family physician. She’s been practicing part-time at Alegent Health Clinic at Lakeside since last November. Dr. Grace received her medical degree from Albany Medical College and completed a residency at Providence Milwaukie Family Medicine in Milwaukie, Oregon.
Dr. Grace says her favorite part about being family doctor is that she gets to care for entire families throughout their lives – from infancy to adolescence on into adulthood and their senior years. But it’s not just about the clinical care she provides, she enjoys getting to know each of her patients on a personal level as well as through the rest of their families.
Beyond standard primary care, Dr. Grace also has experience in colposcopy, IUD insertions, joint injections, skin biopsy procedures, toenail removal and circumcision. She’s also fluent in Korean.
