On December 20, researchers at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health published the results of an interesting, yet unsettling study. It appears that your average physician is under-qualified to meaningfully address the obesity "issue" with his/her patient. Despite the fact that obesity is one of the most alarming health epidemics Americans face, less than half of all surveyed physicians in this study reported having any success with helping their patients lose weight.
A study like this brings to my mind all kinds of questions.
