World-Class Weight Loss
The results of the always anticipated and respected U.S. News & World Report Diet Rankings are in. A program offered by CHI Health Weight Management and created by HMR Weight Management Services (HMR) has been named the #2 Best Diet for Weight-Loss in the nation! This is the first time ever that the report has evaluated HMR, and, as a clinic that has offered these programs for almost a decade, we are delighted that HMR was recognized for this honor. The ranking was based on both short- and long-term weight-loss ratings of the HMR program. It was evaluated against 34 other diets in categories including easiness to follow, ability to produce short- and long-term weight loss, nutritional completeness, safety, and potential to prevent and manage diabetes and heart disease.
Since 2005 CHI Health Weight Management has seen thousands of pounds lost by community members. Personally, until I began working for Weight Management about nine years ago, I had never heard of HMR before, and I have found that this is true of many other people. The reason for this is simple, though a variety of universities, hospitals, and medical centers have offered this program for over 30+ years, the focus has always been on helping patients, and growth has come primarily through word-of-mouth referrals.
At CHI Health we are dedicated to providing the best in evidence-based care, and weight loss is no exception! Our program’s high success stems from its focus on integrating diet, physical activity, and healthy lifestyle skills through weekly coaching. I have personally worked with hundreds of patients whose lives have been changed through losing anywhere from 20 to over 250 lbs. Our research shows 47 lbs. average weight loss with a BMI of 40 or greater who completed the program for at least 12 weeks. This weight loss, of course, can result in the improvement of other conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure
CHI Health Weight Management currently offers the HMR Program at Immanuel, Lakeside, and Mercy Hospitals. If you would like to know more or to attend one of our free information sessions, please contact us at (402) 572-2333 or visit us on the CHI Health web site.

Nice Share, I know this is a last year post but obesity is a problem from which millions of people are suffering all around the globe. Losing weight can be a daunting task especially if your lifestyle is not healthy. Individuals who have to work around ten hours a day also find losing weight difficult. Special Weight loss programs should be planned for such individuals, so that they can also lose weight beside being at work too.. :)
