Asian Mushroom Saute

Serves 2
Prep/cooking time: Approximately 15 minutes
Serving suggestions: Easy side dish pairs well with pork chops, salmon or steaks!

Ingredients:

2 tbsp. butter
1 8 oz. package white mushrooms, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tsp. low-sodium soy sauce
Ground black pepper, to taste

Directions:

Melt butter in a sauté pan over medium-high heat. Add mushrooms and cook for around 5 minutes, stirring often. Mushrooms should be soft. Add the garlic, continue to stir for 1 minute. Add the soy sauce and cook for 4 more minutes, or until sauce has been absorbed. Season with black pepper before serving.
