No Sugar Cranberry Sauce

Serves 8
Prep/cooking time: Approximately 30 minutes

Ingredients:

2 (12 oz.) packages fresh cranberries
¾ cup pineapple juice
½ cup applesauce (no sugar added)
½ cup water
1 orange, juiced and zested
3-4 tbsp. honey

Directions:

In a large saucepan, add cranberries, pineapple juice, applesauce, and water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium, and continue cooking for about 10-15 minutes, cranberries will start to burst, make sure to keep stirring. Reduce to a simmer and pour the honey, orange juice, and zest over mixture, simmering for 10-15 minutes. Remove from heat and cool completely. Refrigerate overnight before serving.
